Who We Are

George Gakidis and Andrew Stewart met in the Architecture department at the Rhode Island School of Design. After school, both performed internships at well respected architectural firms, George in New York and Andrew in the San Francisco Bay area. Andrew began his private practice in the late 90’s and George followed in early 2000. After collaborating on several projects, a partnership was formed in 2006 bringing together a broad range of design, construction and management skills.

What We Do

G.S. Design Group is a full service Architectural firm providing planning, design and construction administrative services from conception through completion of our projects. We specialize in unique Coastal, Mountain and Bay residences whose architecture is derived from the context of their individual environments. In collaboration with our clients we are able to achieve the most pure yet absolute solutions providing designs that are sensitive to the needs our clients as well as the environments that drive them. This joint venture between architect and client enables us to provide personal design services tailored to individuals resulting in projects of pristine quality that enrich the lives of the people who live in the spaces we create together.
